• Developmental/structural editing: helping the author clarify content and structure, including paragraph structure, and overall narrative flow.

• Copyediting: perfecting grammar, spelling and punctuation; clarifying language for consistency and readability; making formatting consistent.
  

• English-language editing: making sure grammar, idiom, and usage are standard for British or American English-language texts.

A final quality check before publication. Does not include structural editing or copyediting.
